Rocco is a 4 month old male Cross-Breeds. They are two of Lea’s puppies, rescued from a quarry where they were all living as strays. The puppies were really struggling for food as other nearby stray dogs were getting to it first, and the pups were becoming more and more vulnerable.

Thankfully a volunteer was able to take the puppies home to foster them whilst they finished their vaccines, and now they have joined the shelter. They’re healthy, happy, and ready for adoption. The boys are expected to be medium sized adults when fully grown, similarly to their mum.
Despite their tough start in life, being fostered has had a great impact on the boys and they are both very trusting, friendly and sociable with people thanks to the kindness they have been shown. They’re confident, curious, and always keen to investigate new things. Jasper and Rocco get along really well with other dogs and are always up for playing in the yard.
They are learning to walk on the lead and have responded really well to meeting lots of new people, children included. We think they would do well in almost any home, as long as they have access to nice walks outside of the city, ideally access to a garden, and a family who are willing to continue their training and socialisation. They are only puppies, so they need further training and hard work to ensure they grow up to be the best versions of themselves as adults.
The pups are not looking for a home together, but can be adopted into homes with resident dogs. They enjoy canine company but can also cope without it as they’re confident natured pups. They have not been tested with cats at this point, but can be homed with children aged 6+. Jasper and Rocco are currently based in Bosnia and have a clean bill of health. They are ready to travel once they find their forever homes.
