Rollo is a 5 months old, male, Jura Hound Cross. Rollo is a rescue from Cyprus who is currently living in St Neots whilst he waits for his forever family to find him. Rollo is a very playful puppy who is full of fun and enjoys running around the garden as well as his walks. He plays ever so nicely in the park with the other dogs and his recall is coming on well. He is an extremely fast learner. He just wants to play with every dog and human he meets. He is a little timid of traffic, but it is pretty daunting and after all he is just a pup. He is extremely loving and will do his best to get on your lap and cuddle up.
Although the resident cat hates him, on their brief encounter he didn’t show any signs of aggression towards her, he was just too bouncy for her so she stays out of his way. Rollo is now fully house trained and sleeps in his crate at night. He is happier if his crate can be in your room as he likes the reassurance of knowing that you are there. Our dream home for Rollo would be a family, perhaps where one person works from home so he can have the attention he needs in the early days. I think he would love another dog to play with or some kids (he loves the neighbour’s children). A garden is a must and preferably his new family will have some experience with puppies because he’s such a fast learner! He really has potential and would enjoy being in a home where he can learn new things and enjoy long walks with his humans.
We need Rollo’s next home to be his home for life, so we ask for you to be 100% committed to his needs. He does need walking every day and due to his still young age he needs bathroom visits every few hours or so. But most of all he needs all of your love. He is the most special dog, and in this short time has changed our lives for the better. Rollo will make the best family dog you could ever wish for, he is a fast learner and will love you forever.
If you can offer this loving, star of a boy his very own forever home and family, please contact us. He has been vaccinated and microchipped. Adoption will be subject to a neutering agreement.
