Rolo is a 5 year old female Yorkshire Terrier. She is a shy girl who will need patient owners who are used to nervous dogs and who will allow her the time she needs to bond and trust. Once she has she loves to be next to you on the sofa.
We would prefer Rolo to have an adult only home please. Rolo has taken little notice of the neighbours cat, she would be fine with a dog savvy bold resident cat. Although Rolo came from a home with another dog she had issues living with a younger dog, she will need to be the only dog in the home.
There are no known health issues with Rolo, but she could do with loosing a little weight, we have decreased her food and increased her exercise, new owners will need to continue to monitor her weight and ensure she keeps going in the right direction.
It takes Rolo a little while to settle in and make herself at home, once she does she is no problem and is good in the house. She is clean and fine to be left for short periods. Her foster has been building her confidence and Rolo is now enjoying her walks, she is great with other dogs she meets out and about and is a social girl. She is a little strong on lead but she has made good improvements.
Rolo will need a quieter, calm home with owners who are around for most of the day. She is fine to be left for short periods but would not cope on her own for long. Visiting grand children would be fine provided that she has a quieter area where she can settle if she is not comfortable. Rolo will make a wonderful companion as she has made such good progress in a short space of time.
Rolo has been neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped and has also had a full dental. She is up to date with flea and worming treatment. Fostered in Kent.
Potential adopters will be expected to travel to Kent to meet Rolo.
