Rolo is a 2 year old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross. He is looking for a new home due to a change in his owners circumstances. He is a very friendly boy, a typical bull breed – affectionate and loves a good fuss from his humans!

Rolo can easily become over-excited in some situations and start to play bite which he will need help to manage. He has shown some over-enthusiasm for some toys, becoming quite vocal, especially around other dogs so his new family will need to take care with this. Rolo can become destructive if he is left on his own, therefore he is crate trained in which he settles down well, often sleeping.

Rolo has shown some anxious behaviour around larger dogs on walks, so he will need ongoing socialisaton to help him overcome this. Rolo has no ongoing medical issues, however he will be seeing our onsite vet before he is rehomed.

Rolo is looking for a home with people who are experienced with bull breeds and won’t be put off by behaviour which is typical of his breed. Rolo is very comfortable in his crate, and when he is settled in a new home he will be comfortable being left for short periods of time. He cannot live with cats or other small animals and due to his size and boisterous behaviour we will be looking for an adult only home.

Rolo is a young boy so he will need an active home where he has plenty of opportunities to burn his energy!

PLEASE NOTE ROLO IS NOT CURRENTLY AT THE RESCUE AND IS STILLWITH HIS FAMILY WHILE WE SEARCH FOR HIS NEW HOME.
