Roma – 6-7 year old female Cross-Breed

Roma is a six and a half year old female Cross-Breed. She was adopted as a pup in a private adoption from Romania. She was in her original home for around six years and we don’t know why they parted with her. She was passed onto a second home where the other dog didn’t like her and reportedly attacked her.

She was then passed on again to another home but, perhaps because of her previous experience making her guarded, she attacked the other dog in that home and this is where we stepped in.

Roma is currently in a multi dog foster home and has no issues with any of the dogs there. Some she is completely indifferent to and others she tries to play with. Roma cannot live with cats.

Roma is a very affectionate and loyal dog who loves her walks. She can be strong willed and determined with an element of “selective deafness” when it suits her. She will need a reasonably experienced owner with a firm but fair approach. Roma travels well in a car and van be left home alone for reasonable periods of time with no issues. Roma fostered Norwich Norfolk.

To date we have helped dogs from Spain, Cyprus and Turkey but the majority of our work takes place in Romania where we have built up strong relationships with many dedicated rescuers before bringing the dogs to the UK and into foster care for rehoming.
