Rome – 2 year old male Collie Cross

Rome is a 2 year old male Collie Cross. He is currently in Oman. He was found at 5am outside the villa gate of the lady who is now fostering him. Apparently he had had an expat owner before who then abandoned Rome on the streets when he left the country.

Rome’s foster mum describes him as a gentleman with zero aggression. He’s super calm and low energy. He does not show any possessive behaviour around food or people.

He’s good on the lead and gets along well with the other dogs and cats in the home. Rome’s ideal home would have a garden as he loves being outdoors in all weathers.

He could live with or without other dogs and cats and could live with respectful children.

His current foster mum works during the day and says Rome does not have any separation anxiety and is okay being left. He would ideally find a home that matches his energy level; calm!

Please note it would take 3-4 months for Rome to be ready to travel to the UK.

For further details about adopting a dog from Muscat Dog Adoption, please contact the rescue by emailing muscatdogadoption@gmail.com

All dogs rehomed via this rescue will be vaccinated, neutered/spayed and microchipped. Home checks apply and full post adoption support is offered.

Our dogs are rescued from the streets of Oman where they live terrible lives, often suffering abuse, starvation, fatal car accidents and victims of shootings.

They’re primarily wadi dogs, a type of mixed breed sighthound and make wonderful pets. They’re incredibly loyal, loving and intelligent.
