Roo – 2 year old female Greyhound

This sweet little poppet Greyhound girlie is just coming up to 2 years of age. She is a very sweet little girl who is currently kennelled with Joey and they get on really well and are very well bonded. We do feel that Roo would benefit from having a companion in the home as she gravitates towards the other greyhounds massively and were people to leave to head to work we think she would settle much more easily. Out and about Roo walks beautifully on lead, she will we feel easily socialise with all other breeds of dogs out and about after gentle introductions and getting her use to the world in general. Roo can be rehomed with dog savy children 6 years and upwards but NO cats.

[rehomed]

Although Roo is currently with us here in kennels she is very clean in her area and toilets as soon as let out to relieve or taken out on walks so we do not envisage housetraining will be an issue for her. Roo is vaccinated, kc vaccinated, de flead, de wormed, microchipped and will be spayed and receive a dental before rehoming.

Although Roo is currently located here in Stoke on Trent she can be rehomed nationally subject to a successful homevisit being carried out and all members of the immediate family and any resident dogs being willing to travel and meet with her.

Greyhound Gap
Greyhound Gap

Greyhound Gap is a small independent charity set up to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome greyhounds and lurchers who find themselves in a ‘put to sleep’ situation in UK pounds. Funded almost entirely by donations, we rehome around 150 dogs each year. We can have around 40-50 dogs at any one time in our kennels based in Kidsgrove, Stoke on Trent and a further 30-40 in foster homes. Greyhound Gap operates on a national basis so our dogs can be homed throughout the UK subject to a suitable home visit being carried out.

If you are interested in adopting a dog from Greyhound Gap, we would ask that in the first instance you could take a few moments to complete our pre-adoption questionnaire if you have not already done so: http://www.greyhoundgap.org.uk/our-dogs/pre-adoption-questionnaire
