Rosie is a 6 month old female Cross-Breed. Little pocket rocket Rosie arrived into the UK mid December and has settled very well into home life and living in the UK. She is being fostered in a family environment in York along with another female dog and cats. She gets along very well with the families 5 year old child.
Build and temperament of a Jack Russel and fast and nimble like a Whippet, Rosie is good on a lead and harness and very much enjoys daily walks and is friendly towards other dogs she meets although she can get scared of barking dogs and because of this she has not been off lead. In the home she is clean and can be left for short periods of time after she has been walked. Good with cats but being a puppy she wants to play which not all cats enjoy.
She has met the families guinea pigs, a meeting that was carefully supervised. She loves being around children but again as a puppy can get over excited. Sensible supervision required. She loves toys especially squeaky balls. She is crate trained and sleeps in a crate overnight. She does not like to be left alone during the night but would maybe settle if another dogs was close by as she loves cuddling into a human or a dog friend.
Rosie can be quite shy on first meeting new people but has bonded well with her foster family. We are looking for a home with someone who has had dogs before and understands their little ways. Rosie is a very loving little dog but did not have that early socialisation time so she would need time and patience to settle somewhere new. Are you that person that could give this charming little dog a new start? Rosie loves life and it shows in her playful charm and her loving ways. Rosie will benefit from further training and socialisation.
Rosie is vaccinated, microchipped, flea/worm treated, due to her age Rosie is not spayed.
