Hi, my name is Rufus and I am a 16 year old male Terrier. Now don’t let my age put you off, I am probably the most energetic 16 year old you will ever meet. I am spritely, adore my squeaky toys and a mad dash! Unfortunately I have not had the best start in life and I am really hoping my friends here can find me a Terrier experienced home, without any other animals or children. Rural would be ideal but a new owner who is happy to drive me to quieter locations for walkies would be great as seeing other dogs is very stressful for me – I will happily wear my muzzle. I am told that I am rather a comical boy, I love giving kisses and cuddles but all in my own time. Really, I am a typical cheeky terrier who needs all my home comforts and a lap to snuggle up on.
