Rusty is a 6 month old male Saluki Cross. He is currently in Oman. He was rescued off the streets with his mum and siblings when he was just 6 weeks old.

Rusty has been living in a shelter type environment with many other dogs and cats since he was rescued. He is your typical sighthound puppy who’s energetic and active so ideally he’d go to a home with sighthound experience or a good knowledge of the breed.

Rusty’s ideal home would have a garden or owners available to exercise him sufficiently if living in a flat. He could live with or without other animals and respectful children.

He’s not had much experience of the world so far so his new owners must have patience and not expect Rusty to go out exploring on adventures nor make new doggy friends right away.

Rusty must be given time to find his feet and settle in his new home. If Rusty sounds a good match for you, please get in touch to discuss further.

Please note there would be a 3-4 month wait for Rusty as we would need to prepare him for travel to the UK.

All dogs rehomed via this rescue will be vaccinated, neutered/spayed and microchipped. Home checks apply and full post adoption support is offered.

Our dogs are rescued from the streets of Oman where they live terrible lives, often suffering abuse, starvation, fatal car accidents and victims of shootings.

They’re primarily wadi dogs, a type of mixed breed sighthound and make wonderful pets. They’re incredibly loyal, loving and intelligent.
