Sally is a 2 year old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross who came into our care from the inspectors. She has unusual markings with 2 black patches over both eyes, a black spot between her ears and a white tip on her tail. She is currently in a foster home. This is what her foster mum has to say about her. I have a lot of love to give and show affection to both adults and children with my quirky tail wag.
I love to sit close to people and give cuddles. I like to pick bread laid out for birds and when my human’s back is turned I have sampled their garlic bread and shortbread! I know that I should not beg and am learning to go to my bed when people are eating and I look away. I go round muddy puddles or jump over them to avoid getting my paws wet. I walk well in traffic and I am learning to sit at a roadside before we cross.
Sally loves her walks and is good on a lead. She has high energy levels and loves playing tug of war and fetch. She has learned to sit for her her food and her housetraining has improved since she has been with her foster mum and now asks to go out in the garden. Sally loves human company so is looking for a home where she won’t be left for long. She could live with older children. She is dog friendly towards other dogs on walks however she is to be rehomed as an only dog. She wasn’t very good in the car when she first arrived with us and but she is slowly getting more used to car journeys now.
Sally is truly a delightful girl and would make a wonderful addition especially we feel to a family unit .
