Introducing Sammy (2 years old) and Blossom (4 years old).

These two beautiful girls are Spanish Water Dogs.

My rescue colleagues in Spain have asked me to assist these two beautiful girls find new homes and families.

Both girls are full breed Spanish Water Dogs. SWD are well known for their coat being same as “hypo-allergenic dogs” therefore good for families where allergies are a consideration. The coat however does require some knowledge on how to care for it.

The breed is known to be intelligent and enjoy using their brain. These girls are sweet and gentle.

Sammy is 2 years old and came from an unlicensed breeder and Blossom is 4 and came from a family break up.

Both dogs are sweet and loving and get on well with children and other dogs. Sammy will need more lead work as it is not the norm for her.

Our rescue knows this breed well and we are recommended rescuers in the UK of SWDs. We also have a breed specialist contact who can be on hand for guidance.

All our dogs are fully vet-prepped and comply with DEFRA requirements.

Both girls will want new homes to be suitable. A suitable home must have a secure back garden and we prefer our homes to be a place where no one is away for lengthy periods of time.

Our rescue ensures healthy and ready-to-meet import requirements for rescue dogs. This includes vaccinations, full blood microchip, flea tick treatment and worming. The adoption fee covers all this work.

Adopters do also have to cover transport costs.

Travel and import costs -include passport, European Health Certificate, Customs costs and import taxes and our place on the van and Eurotunnel.

We use fully DEFRA registered transport and fully insured.

We have a transport chat and you get pictures and updates on the journey.

We offer full support and rescue backup. We have access to behavioural support for all our dogs as needed.

Our process is via application form, and homechecks.

In the first instance please send us some basic information about your family, your property, your garden and the family work patterns.

Thank you for considering our dogs.
