Selkie – 2 year old female Jack Russell Terrier Cross

Please meet Selkie, she is a Jack Russell Terrier cross, approximately 2 years old. She is taller than the average Jack Russell, and will need to lose a few pounds! Selkies was owned by an elderly lady, who sadly died, leaving Selkie without a home. Selkie is very calm and laid back indoors; in fact her energy level is that of a much older dog! She enjoys a stroll around the park, but is equally as happy to spend the rest of the day curled up on a nice warm bed!

[rehomed]

She is very affectionate, and is great with children. She is currently living in a foster home with cats, and although she had tried to chase them, she has showed no aggression, and in fact was pretty bewildered when one cat stood its ground, and she then left well alone!

She does have a tendency to bark at other dogs whilst she is on the lead, but mixes well with most dogs. She would benefit from more socialisation with other dogs. She would probably prefer to live alone or with another calm laid back dog.

She is fantastic in the car, crate trained, spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Selkie is a great family dog, and is fine to be left for a few hours each day. Selkie’s fantastic, affectionate nature makes her the ideal family dog, can you offer her a loving home, with the attention she so loves and deserves?
