Seren – 1-2 year old female Border Collie Cross

Seren is a 1-2 year old female Border Collie Cross who arrived a few weeks ago in the pound of Northern Spain. The first time we met her she was curious, but timid at the same time and did not know if she should approach or not but she was very friendly and wagging her tail. With the time, she has gained trust and has become a very affectionate girl.

Seren is a young and energetic girl who enjoys to play, run and be around other dogs. The ones that have adopted dogs of this breed know how adorable they are. They adapt perfectly to home and family life and usually make one of the sofas at home their own. They are dogs that are very connected to their owner and that also love to run and walk in the woods.

Seren already looks beautiful, but with the adequate nutrition and the necessary care to have a healthy and shiny fur, we are sure that she will attract attention because now she is not at her 100%.

This girl is very active and fun, so is looking for a home that can provide a lot of mental and physical exercise to keep her occupied. She would love to have the company of a further playful dog or be able to have social dog friends when out on walks.

We don’t have any background information about Seren’s past and therefore her new family has to be prepared to train her in all aspects and have a good understanding and experience of dog behavior. Seren needs some time to warm up but as soon as she gains trust she blooms.

This beauty is currently in Spain but ready to travel to England or Wales (not Scotland) once we have the perfect family for her.

If you want to change the life of our girl and think that you are the person or family that we are looking for her, please get in touch with us.

TeLuMa’s Dream
For further details regarding adopting a dog from TeLuMa’s Dream, please email Marta, Jessica, Olga or Alicia at telumasdream@gmail.com or visit our website www.telumasdream.co.uk. We are a voluntary organization which rescues primarily dogs from a public pound in Galicia, in Northern Spain, where the dogs instead of living, are trying to survive. 99% of the dogs are strays or have been abandoned by their owners on the street. The dogs are a variety of breeds and come in all shapes and sizes! We are funded entirely by donations and work hard in our free time to help rescue and rehome as many dogs as possible. With your help we can continue our work and provide food, bedding, medical supplies and care for the dogs until they are well enough to find their forever homes. All dogs rehomed via TeLuMa’s Dream are microchipped, fully vaccinated, wormed, deflead and spayed/neutered if old enough, if not the adoption contract will stipulate that this is done as soon as old enough and this will be checked with your vet. We re-home dogs anywhere in the U.K. This means that you can apply if you have a U.K postal code. Our aim is to pair each dog with the right new owner, ensuring that it will be safe, cared for and loved for the rest of its life. Therefore all potential adopters will be asked to complete a questionnaire. Also a homecheck is carried out and a phone interview prior to adoption. We offer a full rescue back up service to all our adopters and post-adoption support, which includes a Facebook support group and free behavioral advice.
