Sky is a 7 month old female Saluki Cross. She is currently in Oman. She was found with her 5 siblings living next to an abandoned house in Muscat with no mum in sight. They’d been fed and cared for by a kind lady until she was able to find a shelter to take them all in.

Sky has a lovely temperament, she’s sweet and friendly and gets along great with her siblings. She’s good with other dogs too so could live with other dogs. She’s also good with the cats in the shelter so could live with cats. She doesn’t have much experience around children but respectful children would be okay.

Sky’s perfect home would have sighthound experience or a good knowledge of the breed. She’s still a young and active pup with lots of energy so will need a home with a garden where she can run and play to burn off some energy. Once exercised, she’s content to sleep.

Sky is not house trained so her new owners will need to house and toilet train her but we will try to find her a foster home in Muscat prior to travel to gain some domestic experience. Please note it would take 3-4 months to prepare Sky for travel to the UK ??.

All dogs rehomed via this rescue will be vaccinated, neutered/spayed and microchipped. Home checks apply and full post adoption support is offered.

Our dogs are rescued from the streets of Oman where they live terrible lives, often suffering abuse, starvation, fatal car accidents and victims of shootings.

They’re primarily wadi dogs, a type of mixed breed sighthound and make wonderful pets. They’re incredibly loyal, loving and intelligent.
