Smeeton is a 2 year old male Cross-Breed. He is currently located in Kettering. This Hhandsome boy is looking for a home to call his own.
Smeeton is the most adorable and soft boy with an amazing temperament. He is very food-motivated and loves to be kept busy with his kong full of liver paste and cheese!
Smeeton gains a lot of confidence from other dogs and is very happy and playful when around them, he is also very responsive and can be easily trained.
Smeeton can live with dog-savvy Children following sensible introductions.
Smeeton would benefit from another confident dog in his new home to help build his confidence.
Smeeton is struggling in his home environment without another doggie companion, he regularly stays with a doggie friend and his confidence grows.
Smeeton can share his home with cats with sensible introductions. He met cats in Romania and was good with them however has seen cats since being in the UK.
Smeeton can be nervous around new people especially men therefore would prefer a female primary carer in his new home.
Smeeton will accept people very quickly after slow introductions and lots of treats. Smeeton accepts a collar, harness and lead.
When walking on his own he can be very nervous and hesitant, he will stop and freeze until his family brings him home.
Since being walked with the family’s dog he has gained confidence and loves his walks! Smeeton is toilet-trained but not crate-trained.
Smeeton can be left alone for long periods with no issues. Smeeton sleeps well overnight in his bed and loves travelling in the car. He has not displayed any destructive behaviours.
