Smiler is a 7-8 year old male Corgi cross Terrier. We met Smiler on our trip to the Botosani public shelter in Romania back in early March. He was a happy and bouncy little chap in amongst 700 faces despite having been in the bleak shelter for a couple of years.
Smiler is now in a U.K. foster home and doing very well. He is still happy and bouncy and loves to be around people but is very hand shy and will not ask for a fuss. He loves his walks and when on a lead will happily let his foster mum stroke him. He’s absolutely ecstatic to see her when she comes home or gets up in the morning but just doesn’t really understand the whole being stroked thing.
Smiler gets in very well with other dogs and would like a doggy friend in his new home. He hasn’t been introduced to cats but I suspect that he would chase and be very amused by them.
This is a cheeky little character with huge potential. He has a real zest for life and sense of fun but just needs someone who understands that fuss and cuddles will come later on. Smiler fostered Norwich Norfolk.
