Snoopy is a 3 year old male Beagle Cross. He was found wandering the streets of Cyprus, at danger from the traffic and the poison left out for strays. Luckily, he was brought into the safety of a rescue centre where he has been looked after and cared for whilst we try to find him a home. He is still in Cyprus and has a place booked on a flight leaving 16 December. So Snoopy has one dream. If we can find him his perfect forever home, he can be home for Christmas.
Snoopy is a medium sized, happy, little lad. His appearance suggests he is very much a beagle, but as we do not know his origins this cannot be confirmed. Snoopy gets on well with humans of all ages and would be happy in an adult only or a family home. We would prefer any children in his new home to be older, because potentially he could be arriving home during an exciting time for younger children. He is also good with other dogs and has ignored the cat we introduced him too. So, with careful introductions he will be happy to share his new home with other pets.
Snoopy can be a typical beagle, stubborn and single minded. It will help him to have a family prepared to help him settle when he arrives in the UK, and give him the support and training he needs to become the family pet that he has the potential to be. He is currently living in rescue kennels in Cyprus and is a popular boy with the volunteers who visit to help socialise the dogs there.
Prior to his flight to the UK he will receive the vet preparation and vaccinations required, be neutered and microchipped, and have his entry passport prepared. The adoption fee required to cover the flight and courier costs as well as the related preparation costs to get him to you in the UK is £575. We would request £175 of this when he is reserved so that we can get him ready to fly home and then around a week or so before the flight we would ask for the remaining £400 to cover the cost of the flight and courier.
If you are interested in Snoopy, then please contact us. It would help if you could tell us a little about your experience with rescue dogs, garden (height of fencing and secure gates) other pets, times Snoopy may be left alone and ages of any children as well as give your best contact number so that we can contact you.
We will be happy to chat to you about our adoption process. It really is much easier than you might think. Our charity in the UK is also here to provide full rescue back up.
