Socks is a 1 year old female Lurcher Cross. She is currently on our waiting list and is being rehomed whilst she is still with her current family. She has lived in the same home since she was 8 weeks old and is being rehomed as her family can no longer give her the care and attention that she needs.
As Socks is still only a young dog she can be over excitable at times and would benefit from a calm and patient owner. She has displayed some food aggression in the past when challenged so will need an experienced owner. When she is over stimulated she can jump up and mouth the lead so will require some training with this.
She has suffered with itchy ears in the past but does not require any further treatment at this stage. As Sock’s is still only young she will need someone home for most/all of the day. She is good with other dogs and may benefit from living with a calm, older male dog. She cannot live with cats as she will chase them.
We are looking for a home for Socks where any children are aged 16+.
