Stipe and Ante are 1-2 year old male German Wire-Haired Pointer Crosses. These two brothers appeared on 11th of April on Croatia/Serbia crossing border on Croatian land. We assume they came from Serbia and crossed to the Croatian side. They were in a horrible condition – matted, tangled hair, disoriented, smelly, severely malnourished and full of parasites.

They immediately went into the rescuers care and they were completely veterinary treated, bathed, trimmed all that matted hair taken away, cleaned of external and internal parasites, vaccinated, chipped, castrated, and were negative on the test for Mediterranean diseases.
They are both wonderful characters, cuddly, peaceful, good with other dogs, need gentle movements to begin with, but would not generally adopt them into a family with children under 7 years of age.
They are small/medium build and a lot smaller than the German Wirehaired Pointer, of which they originated. They really would make an incredible addition to anyone’s home.
We are a small UK charity that rescues abandoned and sometimes mistreated cats snd dogs from Croatia. We bring them back to health and try to rehome them.
