Suki is a 4 month old female Pekingese Cross. She will be small sized when fully grown and is a Pekingese cross. She is in a foster home in Gloucestershire. She only arrived on Saturday 21st September but she is already learning all about living in a home with humans, other dogs and cats. Jo says she is the most confident puppy she has ever fostered and nothing phases her.
She is a Pekingese cross and they have very strong characters, and will need a dog savvy adopter who will keep her in check and give her rules and limits as to what she is not allowed to do. We think an adult only home with someone who has plenty of time to train her, so she grows up into a well trained and socialised adult.
Suki will need a lot of socialisation with as many humans. dogs (puppies and adults), and other animals as possible. She needs to become used to a wide range of events, environments and situations. Suki is confident on the lead walking with 5 other dogs. She is not doing so well with her house training but it’s early days!
Suki was handed to our rescuer as the owner said the vaccinations were too expensive so she had better take her! That was 6 weeks ago so she stayed in her private shelter in Romania until she was vaccinated and could travel.
Suki is too young to be neutered, but this needs to be done as part of our adoption contract when she is old enough. Suki is vaccinated, chipped and has a passport. Homecheck and adoption fees apply
