After spending 5 and a half years with her family, she has been reluctantly returned due to their change in circumstances. This upheaval has left Sukie feeling confused and saddened.

She is currently in temporary foster care, which is soon coming to an end. It’s essential to find her a permanent home quickly, as moving her too many times while she’s still grieving would only add to her distress.

We are deeply committed to finding Sukie her forever home, one that can provide her with the stability and love she deserves. It’s crucial that her new home be adult-only, as she has had no previous interaction with children.

Additionally, Sukie would thrive in a pet-free environment, as she is not compatible with cats. While she is currently in foster care with other dogs, it’s evident that she’s struggling after being the sole canine companion for so long.

Once settled, Sukie is comfortable being left alone for a few hours and is a good traveler in the car, enjoying country walks. However, her primary need is for a loving and understanding home environment where she can feel safe and secure.

The urgency of Sukie’s situation cannot be overstated – she needs a new home as soon as possible to begin healing from the loss she has experienced.
