Tana – 8 month old female Beagle cross Ibizan Hound (Podenco)

This gorgeous girl is Tana, an 8 month old female Beagle cross Ibizan Hound (Podenco). She is currently in foster care in the area of King’s Lynn (UK). Tana and her sister Candela, who is also looking for a forever home traveled before Brexit from Spain to the UK and are now ready to find their forever home. Tana and her sister are two very playful and energetic girls. They love to play together and with the other dogs at their foster place. Both dogs have become very attached to their foster parents. They are learning to be house trained, are OK on the lead and used to traffic. In comparison to Candela, Tana is more distrustful and shy at the beginning and in general more nervous of everything, especially pedestrians. so therefore she will need more attention than her sister to get comfortable with her new family.

Both girls are also very affectionate and love to get attention from their humans and cuddles. Tana’s future family has to be aware that she is still a puppy, meaning that she will require patience, time and training both indoors and outdoors. We are looking for dog experienced people who currently already have a dog at home or did have one or more in the past.

Tana hasn’t and also can’t be tested with cats, children or other kind of animals. The education of a puppy is time intensive and we want that dogs which require more time like Tana to be the priority. That is why we are looking for an adult only home or for families with older children who already have other dogs living at home and are used to live with them.

We hope to find the best family for Tana and her hister Candela, a family committed to help her and responsible with her care. Tana deserves a family that shows her love and the beautiful sides of life. Please be aware that any potential family/person for Tana will have to meet with her on at least one occasion within her foster home.

The adoption fee is £400. If you believe you can offer Tana her forever home and you’d like her to spend the next 10-15 years with you, please get in touch with us.

TeLuMa’s Dream
For further details regarding adopting a dog from TeLuMa’s Dream, please email Marta, Jessica, Olga or Alicia at telumasdream@gmail.com or visit our website www.telumasdream.co.uk. We are a voluntary organization which rescues primarily dogs from a public pound in Galicia, in Northern Spain, where the dogs instead of living, are trying to survive. 99% of the dogs are strays or have been abandoned by their owners on the street. The dogs are a variety of breeds and come in all shapes and sizes! We are funded entirely by donations and work hard in our free time to help rescue and rehome as many dogs as possible. With your help we can continue our work and provide food, bedding, medical supplies and care for the dogs until they are well enough to find their forever homes. All dogs rehomed via TeLuMa’s Dream are microchipped, fully vaccinated, wormed, deflead and spayed/neutered if old enough, if not the adoption contract will stipulate that this is done as soon as old enough and this will be checked with your vet. We re-home dogs anywhere in the U.K. This means that you can apply if you have a U.K postal code. Our aim is to pair each dog with the right new owner, ensuring that it will be safe, cared for and loved for the rest of its life. Therefore all potential adopters will be asked to complete a questionnaire. Also a homecheck is carried out and a phone interview prior to adoption. We offer a full rescue back up service to all our adopters and post-adoption support, which includes a Facebook support group and free behavioral advice.
