Tariq is a black and brown brindle Bull Mastiff male aged 8 months old which has come in to RSPCA care over Animal Welfare Act issues. Vaccinated, wormed and treated against fleas, Tariq will be neutered and micro-chipped shortly. He’s already quite big but is just a big loveable lump who needs to be in a home where he can be properly cared for, receive bags of execise and grow up enjoying life.

He is good with cats and other dogs, he is scared of some smaller animals! He travels well in the car and is good on the lead, considering he’s been under-exercised, so much so that though curious about the outside world, he likes to stick close as his new exercise regime commences.

He enjoys his food, not to mention toys, and certainly a cuddle where it’s on offer. Left alone, he is not destructive. We have not assessed him with children but except for his size, he seems very much a softie with humans, regardless of size. We’ll update this panel very soon.

We want an experienced owner for him, used of large breeds and who can give him time and companionship. He is clean and toilet trained but has messed now and then when left alone for long periods. He is very scared of shouting, arguments and human aggression generally.
