Ted is fostered near Norwich, he is a six to eight year old tri colour Border Collie. We had a call from our vets asking us to take Ted after his owners had taken him in to be put to sleep and they’d thankfully refused to put a healthy dog down. Their reason for ending Teds life was that they now have a grandchild and don’t trust Ted with them.
Ted is now in a foster home, he’s living with other dogs but doesn’t like them to crowd him or get in his face. He can be a little weary of strangers but one walk is all it takes to gain his love and trust. Collie lovers will adore this affectionate boy and understand his ways perfectly well. We would be looking for an adult environment for Ted but if children do visit he can be put in another room if necessary without difficulty. He’s been fine with the dog savvy children in his foster home who ignore all the dogs until they are ready to ask for their attention. They are vaccinated, microchipped and neutered (unless they are too young).
If you are interested, please call between 9am and 6pm.
