Tess is a 9 year old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier. She was picked up as a stray and with no owner coming forward she is now in our care. As she was a stray we have no information on her background but she is doing great whilst in foster.

She is a friendly girl who loves nothing better than snuggling up on the couch. As she is an older girl she would prefer a quiet home with no young children as she can get a bit spooked by loud noises. She would require a pet free home but has been fine with the resident Parrot.

She walks great on a lead but is not a fan of other dogs and seems to be quite fearful of other dogs on walks but loves to meet new people. She would like someone who is home all the time as she doesnt like to be left alone. As with all dogs, she will need someone who is patient and understanding as she will take time to settle in.

She did cry the first few nights and she did cry when in the car but settled right down after the first week. When Tess first came to us she did have a benign mammary lump which has now been removed and is nothing to worry about. She does have hematomas in her ears from either previously untreated ear infections or possible allergies. Tess is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and has been treated for parasites.
