Theo – 2 year old male French Bulldog cross Jack Russell Terrier

Theo is a 2 year old male French Bulldog cross Jack Russell Terrier. Theo is looking for a new home as he is not comfortable around the young children who visit. He is an unusual cross between a French Bulldog and a Jack Russell Terrier, he is only a small breed but he is quite a heavy build.

Theo can be an anxious boy at times, particularly around young children. Therefore we are looking for an adult only home for Theo without any visiting children or children planned for the future. Theo would benefit from an experienced owner in a calm and settled household, ideally with someone home for the majority of the day.

Theo does take some time to get to know new people and therefore care will need to be taken with visitors to the home. Once Theo knows and trusts you he is a very sweet, playful dog. He will require an active home as he is full of energy and does need some work with walking nicely on the lead.

We are told that Theo can be reactive towards bigger dogs whilst out on walks but can be accepting of smaller female dogs, however we feel that he would be best suited to being the only dog in the home.

Please note that Theo is not on site at the rescue, he is currently on our waiting list and still in the care of his owner whilst awaiting a new home.
