Theresa is a five year old terrier crossbreed. I first met Theresa on our Romania trip back in October. At the end of our day in Craiova her and another dog we have named Buster were the very last dogs we saw before boarding the van back to Bucharest. What I thought I saw when the car boot was opened was an emaciated lurcher pup, when later I was asked to take her of course I agreed.

Last weekend the dog that greeted me from the transport was unrecognizable from the memory I had of her. What she is in actual fact is a sweet natured, eager to please fox terrier cross and she looks amazing!! Seriously, hats off to her carers in Romania. The skin that was bright red from being mercilessly scratched is now healthy, her coat is soft and shiny and you cannot see even a single rib or any other bone poking out.
Theresa is a quiet, unassuming dog. Very well behaved, wary of strangers but lovely with people and children after a short period of time. She is cat and dog friendly and currently fostered in Norfolk.
