Tiger Lily is an 8 month old female Saluki Cross. She is currently in a foster home in Oman. She was rescued off the streets about a month ago as she and her siblings were living in a dangerous area of Muscat.
Tiger Lily is incredibly sweet, she’s one of the sweetest dogs we have rescued. She is incredibly submissive and very timid but is slowly coming out of her shell in her foster home and is bonding well with her foster mum.
She gets along really well with the other dog in the home and doesn’t have an aggressive bone in her body. For this reason, she would also be absolutely fine to live with cats as well as other dogs.
The main thing for Tiger Lily is that her new adopters are kind, patient, and understanding. Tiger Lily will need time to settle and get comfortable in her new home and then she will need time to build up the confidence for walks, meeting friends and family members etc.
She would not suit a busy household as would likely get overwhelmed by the noise so a home without young kids would be best. She’s gaining confidence with her leash walks and would probably benefit from having a calm and confident dog to show her the way.
A rural home would be ideal or somewhere where she wouldn’t have to deal with busy roads and lots of traffic. She is housetrained and has only had two small accidents in the short time she has been in her foster home.
Please note there would be a 3-4 month wait for Tiger Lily as we would need to prepare her for travel to the UK.
