Tilly is a 3 year old female Jack Russell Terrier Cross. She is a UK rescue. She came to SRS in October 2021 when her original owners were going to euthanize her after a nipping incident.

She was very distressed on her arrival, but within 24 hours had settled into life with us and is the sweetest of dogs. She loved visitors and got on well with the other dogs.

We rehomed her in January of this year and things went well for a while, but she returned a few months later after a deterioration in her behavior. Since her return, she has continued to be her usual lovely self, which makes it difficult for us to do any work with her.

We do not know the reason for the change in her behavior and can only assume that she found things a little too busy and stressful, so are his looking for a nice quiet home for her where she will be allowed to take life at her own pace with no pressure to go any quicker than she is comfortable with.

Because of her history of nipping, we are looking for an adult-only home (preferably with just a single person) with someone with experience with Terrier breeds.

Tilly is a total poppet when she wants to be and would make a fabulous companion in the right home.
