Tilly is a small-sized 3 year old female Terrier cross. She was brought to Botosani shelter with her brother and around 30 other dogs when her owner died about 2 years ago and finally its her turn to find a new home. Tilly (was Timon) fostered South Shields.
Almost her her whole life has been lived in a small concrete kennel, where she only met a handful of people so the big world is a little bit scary to her but her happy, curious nature is helping her overcome it and shes learning its actually pretty exciting, shes so egar to please, with a little bit of understanding and gentle coaxing and she tries her best to be brave.
Tilly is a very sweet and loyal little girl, if she’s not sitting on your knee she’s usually not far away gazing at you like you’re the best thing in the world, once she knows you, she adores attention and seems determined to make up for all that she has missed out on. She quickly formed a close bond with her foster mum, but was a little afraid of her foster dad for a little while in the early days, and due to her lack of socialisation she is shy around strangers until she gets to know them.
She adores her walks, shes great with the other dogs in the house, and those she meets when she’s out.
Due to her initial shyness she’s not suitable to live with small children. She has not been cat tested.
