Toby is cute towards people he trusts, however, please note he does require extra support around meeting new people, and other dogs and is very vocal generally. Forms close bonds with people he knows, very affectionate.

Toby is reactive towards strangers, will bark and lunge, very strong. Will need an experienced home that knows how to help a nervous dog cope with the wider world.

Toby will never feel comfortable in busy environments. Generally vocal dog. Will need walking in quiet locations. He is very worried about children, not suited at home or visiting.

Toby is very lively, playful and strong on lead. Likes most smaller dogs, not keen on larger dogs.

Advise may be best as he is the only dog, so can focus on his needs and training, and may be able to live with a small dog if personalities match. Not suited to live with cats.

Toby is house-trained, travels well, fine left alone for short periods
