Toto is a 2 year old male Terrier Cross. He is a funny, playful, cheeky little guy who is loving life in his foster home. When he arrived we immediately noticed that he had a very damaged eye and a vet confirmed that although he’s totally blind in this eye, it causes him no discomfort and is best left as it is, he also told us he has very limited vision in his remaining eye which has left him almost blind.
This has been caused by a retinal issue that he was probably born with and aside from a few odd little traits he’s learned to live with it very well. He also has a cute little overbite which make his bottom teeth stick out like tusks and for me it all adds to his quirky little charm and makes him all the more adorable.
He’s a happy little soul, his tail never stops wagging and he lives for human cuddles and attention and would happily sit you your knee all day. He is still a very young dog and can be really playful, he loves toys and has a habit of play biting which will need to be worked on.
He loves the other dogs in the house but sadly, as is often the case with blind dogs, they aren’t keen on him, so he would need a home as an only dog, or with a very tolerant dog. He is fostered in South Shields.
All dogs are vaccinated, microchipped and neutered (unless the dog is too young to be neutered). If you are interested please message or call between 9am to 5pm Mon – Fri 9am to 4pm Sat.
