The beautiful Trevor is a 3 year old male Mastiff Cross. He is a gentle giant with the protective nature true to the breed. Trevor was handed into another rescue by his owner, but due to animal welfare issues and cruelty they were closed and he became part of LHDR family.
Because of the mistreatment in his past he is a little shy and unsure at first but he quickly comes round and becomes the lovable cuddly oaf that Trevor is at heart. He is a very intelligent boy who loves to learn and make people smile. Trevor can be strong on the lead/harness and is wary of strange dogs however he does settle quickly.
His new home will need to be aware of this and be willing to work with him. Trevor would happily live with children over 10 who are dog savvy and he would need to be an only pet. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and health checked.
Trevor is one of the rescue dogs highlighted by dog adoption site dogsblog.com in our bid to help some of Britain’s most overlooked and loneliest dogs find new homes this Valentine’s Day.
Dogs like Trevor have written letters to would-be owners…
