Twinkle is a 3-5 year old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier. She is a rather calm girl and intelligent, she hangs off every word you say as if she understands and a lot of it she does! She even holds a conversation with you sometimes, I’m sure she has even said proper words to me on occasion! She is impeccably behaved in the home. Can be left for a few hours with no problem. With me, she will stare out the window and watch the world go by for hours. She has fallen asleep sitting up with her chin resting on the windowsill more than once, especially if the sun is out. In true Staffordshire Bull Terrier style, she can’t get enough cuddles and loves to snuggle up under a blanket with you. She enjoys her walks and is very responsive and easy on the lead and will regularly make eye contact with you for confirmation she is doing the right thing. Her biggest love is her ball. And I mean LOVE! Would be a perfect training reward. She loves her food too, but not as much as ball.
We have done unofficial agility using haystacks and branches and she is excellent and adores it (especially if ball is involved), she would be superb round a proper course I’m sure. She thrives on learning new tricks and fun games. She loves people and will quickly get to know them and be comfortable with them. She won’t be overfamiliar to begin with.
Twinkle has been good passing other dogs and will stand with other dogs but I believe would be best as an only pet. The bond she will have with her owner and family will likely be enough for both parties! Again as a typical Staff, all she wants is people to kiss and cuddle her all day long. I truly can’t think of a bad word to say about her, she is polite, subservient and a real lady. A beautiful example of her breed. I will be both very sad and very happy for her when she finds her perfect home.
