Vivi is a medium sized 5 year old female Cross-Breed, born April 2016. She is one of the 4 puppies (Bear, Mowgly and Blacky) saved by Florentina along with their mum Emma. Sadly Emma didn’t survive an operation and 2 of her puppies died from Parvo leaving the lucky 4.

Vivi was one of the pups who had Parvo. It took a lot of love and TLC to bring her through this and she has no lasting effects of the illness. Vivi is a little shy around new people however her confidence will build in her new home as she is slowly introduced to new things and new people.

Vivi is similar to her brother Blacky and is usually pretty bossy with the other dogs in her enclosure. She is usually paw to paw with Blacky and can be in the middle of trouble with the other dogs. She is possessive with both food and toys therefore her adopters need to have experience of owning a similar dog and being able to demonstrate appropriate methods for teaching boundaries and basic commands. Strictly no alpha dominance required here.

Vivi could be rehomed with another dog, who is very calm and has no issues around sharing food and toys. Alternatively Vivi could adapt to being an only dog with someone who is around for a large part of the day to offer supervision, playtime and exercises to keep her mind occupied each day.

Appropriate space must be available in the home to allow Vivi the time to work on her current issues around food and toys if joining a home with another dog. We would like a child free home for Vivi. Vivi has not been assessed with cats, so will need a cat free home.

Think of Vivi as a blank canvass, ready to be shaped into the ideal dog. Her required training class should help with this, however she may need further work over and above this so her adopters should be fully aware and able to offer this should she need it.

We are sure that Vivi will settle well into a home environment with a little time and guidance -she will require work on toilet training and also walking on a harness and lead. We do not anticipate this causing any issues as Vivi is very intelligent and always aims to please.

If you would like to offer Vivi her perfect forever home by opening your home and heart then please complete the adoption application form and someone will contact you.
