Willow is a 4 year old female Lurcher. This lovely girl was confined in a small outdoor caged area for the last two years.
She is currently being fostered by the lady who rescued her, but her home environment isn’t really suitable due to her other animals (cats & fowl), so she needs a new home or foster urgently. She loves people, and she’s very affectionate.
Anybody taking her on would be rewarded ten-fold with love and loyalty. She likes most other dogs; currently in foster with one large and two small dogs. She is not suitable to live with cats or fowl (chickens/ducks) and she is good with children (originally grew up with kids) but can be boisterous.
She travels well in the car. She is housetrained, and will sleep 10 hours through the night. However due to her past she is not ready to be left for long periods during the day.
She is fit and full of energy and loves playing with a ball, but also ‘down time’. She is easy to train – responding to commands and walks nicely on a lead 26″ high to top of shoulder, weighs 26kg.
She needs a secure garden (5-foot fences) and a good walk each day. She is vaccinated (including kennel cough), will be neutered soon. Willow is currently in Doncaster but can travel for the right home.
