Wren is an awesome 5-year-old medium/large female Cross-Breed dog currently in foster care in Southampton.

She’s adaptable, having lived comfortably as both an only dog and with other dogs in her foster home.

Successful introductions would be necessary if placed in a multi-dog household.

Wren is well-behaved indoors. She can be left alone for up to 4 hours with no problems, isn’t destructive, and is already house-trained.

While she has basic training, her recall needs some work.

Her foster parent walks her off-leash, but her focus can waver for enticing smells. Therefore, an owner comfortable with continued leash training would be ideal.

Wren would do best in a home with older children only.

She walks well on leash and hasn’t shown any reactivity on walks.

An active owner with time for daily walks would be a great fit, as Wren enjoys her exercise and thrives on an active lifestyle.

She’s not demanding, but simply loves her walks.

All dogs rehomed via this rescue will be vaccinated, neutered/spayed and microchipped. Home checks apply and full post adoption support is offered.

A Promise to Felix Dog Rescue started as an idea to help a little pup called Felix come over to the UK from Romania and find him a lovely forever home.

The dogs in Romania and other countries are often treated as vermin. They are tortured, abused and thrown out onto the streets as trash.

An idea for one little dog has become so much more and with wonderful supporters many more dogs will be aided in escaping the brutality they receive.

This is a group that are passionate about helping these dogs in need and although still very small in comparison to other rescue groups, can only go from strength to strength with your support.
