Yako is a 6-7 year old male Brittany Spaniel. Handsome Yako is a petite, pure bred Brittany Spaniel lad with a soft liver and white coat. Yako is very friendly with people, he is not shy or fearful and likes to approach people with confidence to ask for some head rubs or, possibly, treats. His previous owner dumped him at a vet’s clinic but luckily for Yako, the vet decided to foster him. He was healthy but he was filthy and quite thin. He had never lived inside a home so he’s still learning. A clever friendly boy, he is quite obedient, he pays attention, and he is quite smart. He is active, he loves walks and needs daily exercise.
Foster Report: Yako has become my little assistant here, following me everywhere around the vets clinic, greeting clients and meeting lots of new friends everyday! He is, in general, very sociable but is not so friendly with entire male dogs. He is fine with females and neutered male dogs.
He had to be house-trained from scratch and is still marking places occasionally, but we are working on it. He has met some cats through cat carriers and did not get nervous, he didn’t growl or bark, but we don’t really know if he could live with cats or not. Current location is in a foster home in Spain can travel to the UK in October if has a home to go to.
Adoption Fee : £345 – to be paid direct to the Spanish rescue to cover travel costs via UK bank account.
