Yogi – 2-3 year old male Mastiff

Yogi is a large male Mastiff of around 2 to 3 years of age, he was very underweight when he came to us but has now started to gain some weight and looking much better already. Poor Yogi doesn’t have very much muscle at the moment and tires quite easily but regular exercise & regular muscle building walks will soon help with this & build up his stamina. There really isn’t anything negative to say about this wonderful boy, he is quite simply a delight and we have all grown to love him in a very short period of time.

[rehomed]

Yogi adores people, in fact he seems to adore everything and everyone he meets, he has been fine with any children he has met but because of his size we are looking for a home with just adults or older children only. He LOVES his food but is very gentle and he is now starting to enjoy eating bones, he was very unsure of what to do with them at first, but has learnt quite quickly that they are very yummy!

He has just been castrated and recovering well, he has started his vaccinations and been microchipped, Yogi was the perfect gent with the vet, all the veterinary staff and he was a very good lad travelling in the car. He is strong on lead and although this is improving already it will need more work when he goes to his new home, he does know sit and his love of food is proving to be a great help with his training. He has not shown any real aggression towards other dogs but he won’t let them have a go at him without having a good bark back.

Yogi is just a big lovable, cuddly bear that with a bit of work on his training will make a wonderful companion for fun and lots of cuddles. If you think you could offer Yogi his forever home and lots of cuddles please get in touch.
