Yoshi is a 1 year old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross. He came into our care when his owners were moving house and couldn’t take him with them. During his time with us so far, Yoshi has shown himself to be a playful boy who loves his walks and spending time on our field with members of staff.

He also enjoys going up to the staff room for breakfast with the kennel staff and sharing their toast! He took a few days to come out of his shell and start to relax and bond with members of the kennel staff. When he first arrived he was quite confused and nervous of new people and his surroundings.

He can be reactive towards other dogs and his previous owner advised us that he has had issues with this before. He is very friendly when he meets new people, however he does like his own space if he starts to feel anxious or overwhelmed. He is looking for a home with no children including no visiting children.

He doesn’t cope well with being left for long periods of time so ideally he needs someone to be around for most of the time. He cannot live with other dogs or animals due to his reactivity issues.

He will also need a secure garden with high fences as he can jump very high especially if he sees another dog. Due to Yoshi’s behaviour we are preferably looking for a home with previous experience of handling reactivity towards other animals.
