Zoe is an 11 year old female Jack Russell Terrier cross Chihuahua. She is an adorable tiny little girl who just loves cuddles, her favourite pastime is being snuggled with her human on the sofa. She will happily sit for hours having a cuddle and being stroked. She will need to be homed as an only dog in a home with no other animals as she does have a high prey drive. Zoe is an active girl even though she is a more mature lady. She will need new owners who are around most of the day to ensure her cuddle quota is met.
Zoe loves everyone and is just adorable, a real tiny treasure. Due to limited history any children would need to be older teenagers used to dogs. It’s a definite no for any other animals for Zoe. Adorable as Zoe is she must be the only dog in the home, this is a definite requirement for her re homing.
Zoe does have dry eye and will require eye cream for the rest of her life to ensure that her eye continues to remain lubricated and comfortable. This is a lifelong condition and will need eye ointment at least twice daily.
Zoe is clean provided she has regular access to outside, she sleeps well at night and is a really easy little girl. She does like human company so would not cope with being left for prolonged periods. Her priorities are cuddles, a little ponder in the garden to make sure no birds, cats or squirrels have sneaked in, another session of cuddles and a good walk where she can let everyone know she is out and about.
Zoe can be vocal when she see’s other dogs out and about, provided you take control of the situation and tell her no, then she is manageable. If for one moment you allow Zoe to take the lead she will bark and growl at every passing dog. Its hoped that an owner experienced in terriers and their traits will find her as endearing as we do and will be prepared to work with her on her lack of social pleasantries. Other dogs aside, Zoe is easy on the lead and as she is so small easily managed if she does decide to misbehave.
A home where Zoe gets lots of attention from her humans, a lovely garden so she can have a chase of the birds and relax in the sun would be wonderful. Owners who know and love the traits of terriers will understand her and love her in an instant. She is a cracking little lady who clearly has not had the easiest of lives. Time for her to be pampered we think.
Zoe has been neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped and has also had a full dental. She is up to date with flea and worming treatment.
Potential adopters will be expected to travel to Tatsfield to meet Zoe.
