This delightful canine possesses a calm and easygoing temperament, devoid of any phobias. Andre displays friendliness towards both people and fellow dogs, although he has not been tested for compatibility with cats.

Originally a Ukraine war dog, Andre seeks a safe haven, arriving in the UK in mid-March and available for a foster-to-adopt arrangement. He was brought to the rescue by the military in Autumn 2022 after serving as a companion to soldiers near the Bakhmut front line.
Andre provided both friendship and mental support to the soldiers, earning the affection of everyone around him. Concerned for his safety amid frequent relocations, the soldiers decided to send him away from active combat areas when one of them had a short holiday.

Andre is not just a wonderful companion; he is a human-oriented, loving dog that may struggle in a large rescue setting. He adores walks and exploration but is equally calm and cuddly at home.
His friendly nature extends to other dogs, both males and females, making him a suitable companion for another calm and friendly canine. Alternatively, he can be content as the sole pet, as humans are what truly matter to him.

Andre is an ideal match for a retired family with an active lifestyle and a love for walks without excessive exercise. Any family adopting him is sure to be pleased with such a fantastic family pet.
Health-wise, Andre has no known issues, having undergone neutering, full vaccinations, microchipping, and C. Brucella testing in a licensed laboratory.
