Apollo is an approx 7/8 year-old male Belgian Shepherd. Apollo came to us as an unclaimed stray, seemed as he got older and slowed down he was not wanted anymore.
He is a lovely chilled laid back and would be the perfect dog for someone who loves the idea of having a Belgian Shepherd, but at a much slower pace.
His days of being a little rocket are long behind him, instead, he likes the slower pace of life, and his home comforts, not words I’d usually associate with this breed but indoors he is quite the couch potato.
Apollo loves life in the slow lane, he is a lovely companion who is happy just to sit with you and be stroked, he still loves to go for a walk and walks beautifully on the lead.
He also doesn’t mind the odd ball chase and will play with other dogs when the mood takes him, but mostly he just likes to relax with you. He is more than happy pottering around the garden and then retiring to his bed or the sofa.
He absolutely loves his food! Food is life for this lad! Apollo is a happy laid-back lad and would make a fab companion for someone who loves the shepherds but wants a slower pace, he has plenty of life in him but is enjoying the slow lane.
Apollo is house-trained and non-destructive, he travels well in the car and is an absolute pleasure to have. Apollo is a gentle giant; he is a darling with not a bad bone in his body.
He could happily live with other dogs or be the only dog in the home. he is quite content being left for short periods. he is a very undemanding older boy.
Would suit an older person or couple. Apollo is neutered and chipped, de-flea and wormed. Could this gentle lad share your home with you?
