This chap is only 9 months old and has had a bit of a rubbish start. Axl was bought as a tiny puppy and then spent the next four months living in a bathroom. He never went out and when he grew too big for the room he was tied up outside the owners flat and left there for someone to take away.

Luckily the person that found him was a Staffie owner and made a point of socialising him with her own dog and taking him out and about as he needed his muscles built up…he had to be carried home from the park at one stage because he was so out of shape.
Axl has got a great temperament and is good with other dogs – in fact he is a bit of a pushover and gets bullied by my toothless Chihuahua cross and recently got chased about the field by three 12 week old Jack Russell puppies and ended up hiding behind me!!!
The lady who rescued him could not keep him as she was only allowed one dog at her property. Axl did go to a new home as an only dog but he did not cope well with this at all, so it is very important that he is homed with another dog for company. If he is an only dog he is destructive when left. When with another dog he goes to sleep until his owner gets home so we would have to insist that Axl goes to live with a nice playful girlie. 🙂
He is castrated, vaccinated and microchipped.
