Beema was homed via the rescue a number of years ago, but sadly, due to his owners ill-health she was unable to look after Beema anymore and he is now back here. Beema is a cracking little boy who is so sweet and gentle! He is great with other dogs and always happy to see you. Shortly after arriving at the rescue we noticed that Beema was drinking an awful lot and going to the toilet plenty too; after a series of blood tests it has been found that Beema has Cushings Syndrome which means that his body is producing too much cortisol.

With the help of some medication the rescue is hoping to get his condition under control and there are many cases of dogs who live happily for many years with the right balance of medication and care.
