Bess is a black and white Border Collie aged 8 months old. Bess is a busy young Collie! Bess was brought in because the owners said they could not afford to keep a dog. It is more likely that, following a relationship split, the new partner felt the dog was an unwanted link with the man’s past family and poor Bess was surplus to requirements.

Bess

We had rehomed Bess but unfortunately she was too much for her adopters, whose other dogs were older and wiser! Bess’ housetraining was a little unreliable in her adoptive home, she is always on the go and never seems to tire!

Bess is quite a small Collie. She has been great with the children she grew up with, and is friendly but a little submissive – so her new owners should not expect too much too soon. She is not used to the car but she travelled ok here. Shs is fine on buses. She would probably chase cats and livestock. She is still at the puppy chewing stage so need someone home full-time.
