Cane has been assessed by one of our trainers, Ray, who found him to be a wonderful, affectionate little pup. Cane is not as confident as his brother and can be a little insecure. He was initially overwhelmed by open spaces, as if he has not had much experience in the big wide world, but soon relaxed and explored the new sights and smells. Cane was a little nervous around Ray’s dogs to start with, hiding behind Ray’s leg. Ray’s dogs respected Cane’s slightly nervous behavior and gave him time and space to get used to them.

Cane soon became relaxed and approached and interacted with them calmly. Cane needs new owners who will help him build his confidence by socializing him with calm dogs, so that he learns that other dogs are fun and not something to be afraid of. Overall Ray found Cane to be a wonderful little chap, who already has excellent recalls and will make a fantastic pet.
