Charley – 9 year old female Boxer

Charley is a 9 year old Boxer girl who is in need of a new home due to her owner becoming ill and not being able to give her the care she needs. She is a very good natured dog, toilet trained and listens to all instructions. Charley loves attention and adores being stroked/brushed, she loves nothing more than a game of football with the kids, and in the summer time a dip in the paddling pool with them! She does love a treat as do all dogs, something which should be kept to a minimum. Charley is good with other dogs. She isn’t fond of cats or birds and likes to chase them! She is good in the house and isn’t destructive when left alone. When Charley arrived with us it was apparent there was something else going on she is very overweight and does drink a lot, unfortunately after various tests the vet has confirmed she has cushing’s disease and will need medication daily (please take a look here for info on cushings: www.canine-cushings.co.uk)

 

Charley’s medication costs will be covered by us as we will have an ongoing sceme for her, we just need a loving home for her who will give her the attention and care she deserves for whatever time she has left
