Cherish – 3 year old female Whippet Cross

Cherish is a three year old whippet type girl. She has beautiful brindle colouring and her pictures do not do her justice. We offered to take Cherish when she was pictured on Facebook huddled in a corner of a shelter in Romania trembling because she was so scared. We were expecting another terrified dog that would take weeks to rehabilitate but in fact she arrived frozen with fear on the Saturday but was dancing for her dinner and enjoying her walks by the Tuesday.

[rehomed]

Cherish is happy meeting new people and loves having her belly rubbed by them. She is a fast learner and is picking up the ways of domestic life with ease. She loves to play with other dogs and settles very quickly with new ones. Cherish could live with dog savvy children of 11 years up.

Cherish loves nothing more than to come up on the settee in the evening with lots of cuddles, she is a cheeky little madam and her foster mum adores her. She is crate trained and sleeps in one at night.

We are a voluntary organisation with members from all over the world that have come together to help dogs in need, regardless of their location. To date we have helped dogs from Spain, Cyprus and Turkey but the majority of our work takes place in Romania where we have built up strong relationships with many dedicated rescuers before bringing the dogs to the UK and into foster care for rehoming.
